Me working? That’s a no!

As a teen, I always wanted to have a job. I wanted to make my own money and not have to be dependent on people paying my dues for me.  My social justice class has changed my entire view though. Women today makes 80 cents for every one dollar made by man. That means that women has to work twice as hard to achieve the same amount of money as a man. I feel that if you want me to work, then I should be treated and work for the same amount of money as a man. You may ask why this has not changed if the US is equal. I would tell you it’s because women have fewer years of work experience and it’s not beneficial to the people you work for. Until I earn the same amount of money as a man, I will not contribute to working in any type of work place.
